A Non-Aggression Pact, frequently referred to as a NAP, is an agreement made between two or more Great Powers to not engage in conflict with each other. NAPs are most frequently formed by two bordering powers of equal or relatively equal size. Unlike in defensive and offensive alliances, parties in non-aggression pacts are not expected to come to the aid of one another. As with all agreements in the game, NAPs are in no way binding and may be violated at any time by any involved party.
